Rodolfo da Costa Manso Real Amadeo

Rodolfo da Costa Manso Real Amadeo has a Bachelor of Laws degree (1998), a specialization in Environmental Law (2002), a master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law (2005), and a doctorate degree in Civil Procedural Law (2010) from the University of São Paulo (USP). He is a professor of Civil Procedural Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at University of São Paulo (USP) and Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGVLaw). He coordinates the Group of Advanced Studies on Arbitration, of Fundação Arcadas (GEAARB) and is a member of the Center for Access to Justice, Civil Procedure, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (NAJUPMESC) of the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGVLaw). He is a member of the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law (IBDP), the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAR), the São Paulo Lawyers’ Institute (IASP), the Brazilian Institute for Studies of Energy Law (IBDE), the São Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP), and the Brazilian Association of Law and Economics (ABDE), besides being mentioned in international publications such as Chambers & Partners and Leaders League. He is the author of several legal works, among which are Arbitration in Brazil and Comparative Law (2023), Code of Civil Procedure Interpreted (2018), Brief Comments on the New Code of Civil Procedure (2016), Fraudes Patrimoniais e Desconsideração da Personalidade Jurídica (2016), Fraude de  Execução (2012), and Embargos de Terceiro (2006). His work as a lawyer focuses on judicial and arbitral litigation and disputes in civil, commercial, corporate, environmental, and energy areas.
