Raquel Maria Sarno Otranto Colangelo specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, tax and corporate planning, publicly traded companies, and contracts. For several years she has been primary outside counsel for large-cap clients in the electrical power, insurance, manufacturing, and fertilizer industries. She has helped her clients grow over the years through acquisitions and/or public offering of securities.Master in Business Administration with specialization in Entrepreneurial Law from the São Paulo Business Administration School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Ms. Otranto joined the Harvard University Program of Instruction for Lawyers in the United States. She taught Tax Law at the São Paulo Business Administration School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She is a member of Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Brazilian Bar Association) and Associação dos Advogados de São Paulo (São Paulo Attorneys’ Association). She has sat at the Board of Directors ever since the firm’s foundation in 1993.Ms. Otranto graduated in Law from the Universidade de São Paulo in 1969
