Gianluca Martins Smanio graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2017. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association. LL.M in Criminal Procedural Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). Author of books and articles on Criminal Procedure and Technology. In the White Collar Crime Defense area, he acts in all phases of criminal prosecution, from the police investigation to the criminal action and appeals before higher courts. In the Compliance area, he helps conduct internal investigations, reviews and develops compliance programs, conducts due diligence and risk analysis, and defends the interests of companies that are targets of administrative proceedings for holding private entities accountable under the Anticorruption Law.
