André Augusto Mendes Machado graduated from the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP), where he also earned a Master’s degree in Criminal Procedural Law. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section. André is the author of “Defensive Criminal Investigation”, published by Revista dos Tribunais. Co-author of “Secrecy in Criminal Proceedings” and “Organized Crime – Procedural Aspects”, both coordinated by Profs. Antonio Scarance Fernandes, José Raul Gavião de Almeida and Maurício Zanoide de Moraes, published by Revista dos Tribunais. He is a lawyer with vast experience in the criminal area. He acts in litigation, representing his clients in all judicial instances, as well as the Judiciary Police, Public Ministry, Public Administration and Parliamentary Investigation Committees. He also renders services in a preventive and consultative manner, providing legal advice by means of technical notes, opinions, and compliance organization.
